A clean home is a happy home. My Mom always says that a home needs to be always in tip-top condition, even when there are no guests coming over, and I’m sticking to that “rule” no matter what. Now, you may think that I kick off my ass on cleaning, but the reality is completely different. Yes, I clean, but I also go to work and still have time to go out with friends, cook and even relax at night with my hubby. Many of my friends keep on asking me how’s that possible, your home is always shining, and you still have plenty of free time, how so?
The secret is in having the right cleaning products. Quality cleaning items can really do wonders, you just need to find the right ones. Let me share with you the ones that can really make super wonders.
Sponges are maybe one of the most useful cleaning items out there, as they are multipurpose. However, it’s nice to have a mix of regular sponges, the ones with abrasive and microfiber side. They are designed for cleaning different types of purposes, which eases the whole cleaning process. Once done, rinse them and they are ready for use again.
Microfiber cloths are the most helpful cleaning tolls I have ever used. They are extremely effective at dusting, leaving the surface clean without any marks or scratches. Keep in mind that they need to be washed only with warm water without the use of any detergent.
Broom, Dustpan and Mop
When it comes to floors, these are the three essential cleaning items you need. A good broom and dust pan will remove any debris and loose dirt, while the mop will leave it completely shiny.
White Cotton Towels
White cotton towels are my multipurpose ally. I use them to dry my dishes, clean up spills, mop up the floor, clean the windows and more. The beauty of white cotton towels is if they get dirty or stained, just bleach them and you are ready to use them again.
When it comes to cleaning on the natural way, the products that simply beat up others in killing germs, bacteria and oust odor are:
- Baking Soda
- White Vinegar
- Rubbing Alcohol
When it comes to glass, this simple solution will make your windows and mirrors shiny again. All you need is to mix in a spray bottle 2 cups water, ½ cup white vinegar and ¼ cup rubbing alcohol (70 percent concentration), shake well, spray the solution on a paper towel or soft cloth and clean your glass.
